Things I like!
Getting glammed up!
*
Not something you do too often as a writer sitting at a desk all day, but when I get a chance it's great fun to put a posh frock on for the night and have a bit of a boogie.

Chocolate
I love Chocolate! It's my one vice in life. You can't beat a bar of good old Cadbury's for value. But I love 'Hotel Chocolate' and my expensive treat is 'Charbonnel et Walker's Pink Marc de Champagne Truffles.' And the best ice cream ever is Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie... heaven in a pot.

Handbags!
Yep I'm a bag girl! Not overly fussy about shoes like some women are, I prefer my feet to be comfortable! But I'm a sucker for a lovely bag or two or three....or maybe even four! Especially from Accessorize.

Dogs
Especially this dog - it's my golden labrador, Jake.

Ireland
I love Ireland, and especially Dublin. So you will often find an Irish character or two in my novels. My husband has family over there, (hence our name) so we try and go over as often as we can find an excuse to!
The Wicklow Gap, Ireland complete with rainbow!

Walking with Ronan Keating
In 2003 & 2005 Ronan walked the length of Ireland to raise awareness for all types of cancer and also much needed funds for the Marie Keating foundation, a cancer awareness charity set up in his late mothers name.
I had a fantastic time walking alongside Ronan on both of those walks with my friend Karen, shaking buckets and collecting money. We met some wonderful people along the way and shared some great
memories.

Since helping out on the walks, my husband Jim and myself have regularly attended the Marie Keating foundation's annual fundraising Pink Ribbon ball in Dublin.
